CRCT Test Starts Wednesday.  We will have short review of overall skills per grade level.  With weather permitting we will have class in the outdoor classroom.  Remember to use the strategies that you have learned while taking the CRCT Test and you will do a great job!

Go in with the attitude that you can and you will, go in with the mind set that you can't and you won't!

All Grades!!

We will be preparing for the CRCT Test.  You will work problems that are similair to the problems on CRCT.  We will discuss test taking strategies and problem solving.  There will be a CRCT Pep Rally on April 21st during connections.  Remember to work on Skills Tutor; at least 30 minutes a night.  The problems that I assigned are the same type of skills you will be tested on.  This is a great way to polish your skills and review the steps to solving each problem.

Students should have the jeopardy template completed with evidence they did their own work.

Thursday students should start adding their game onto the computer for editing.

6th Grade

Feb.7th Students have homework.  They need to re-work the coupon shopping worksheet with their parents, parents please sign the paper to indicate that you have worked with them.  Thank you for your support!

Continue with coupon shopping: Parents please save newspaper ads and talk to your child about how to figure the amount saved and sale price.

If students understand the material there will be another test on Thursday over coupon shopping. Students need longer to review and understand the coupon lesson, therefore the quiz will be given on Tuesday February 11th. Please review shopping coupons in the newspaper or take your child to the grocery store; allow them the opportunity to explain what the savings and sale prices are for several items.
