April & May Events
Workday ~ April 26th Workday @ Durham Middle School 9:00am - 12:00pm.
This is a yard work day. If you are able to help with landscaping the front of the school we could use all of the help we can get. Wear old clothes, we plan on laying out pine straw; staining benches; planting flowers and forming new flower beds. If your parents have or know of some one who has a tiller please contact Mrs. Taylor @ denataylor@cobbk12.org , it is needed to cut the new beds.
Mural Dedication Day ~ May 4th
This day Durham Middle School will dedicate the mural painted by students to the Durham family. the mural explains and displays the history of the Durham Family Farm, which is the location of Durham Middle School. If you can help with preparation; serving food or clean up please contact Mrs. Taylor via email. The time of the dedication will start at 2:00pm. If you are able to help please plan to be at Durham early and wear your Student Forum shirt along with a nice pair of slacks or skirt(ladies), there will be several individuals from the board of education and county commissioners present.

Now until April 30th
Coloring Book, Crayons, and Calling Card collection for soldiers overseas. Calling cards will be sent so Soldiers can call their Mothers on Mother's Day. Coloring Books and Crayons will be pasted out to the children who live in the battle fields.
