April 3-end of the school year

CRCT week-No Homework

On going class project: Make your ownmath game. Students create a game that incorporates different aspects of the math curriculum. See attachments for details. Games are due in class on April 12. We will be presenting our games and playing them in class.

April 13-17 We will be making review flip books of the material we learned this year. This will be an in class activity. There will be no homework this week unless you need to work on your flip book.

April 20-25 We will be previewing for the next grade! We will watch videos, interact with smartboard lessons and make power points. Some newspaper/ consumer math will be incorporated. No home work this week. All assignments will be in class.

Assignments and plans may be adjusted occassionally.

6th grade: Monday We reviewed Surface Area of a cylinder and vertices, edges, faces, bases etc. NO HOW, Tuesday work on Surface Area, gave study guide. HW is to do study guide, Surface Area problems only. Quiz tomorrow, TEST Friday. No HW over spring break.

7th: Monday:HW is to complete the coordinate plane sheet if you did not do it in class. In class we reviewed central tendency and took the quiz we were supposed to have last Friday. We are now deep into reviewing for the CRCT so please practice at home.

All classes: All classes had a packet of work today. The last page of the packet is over long division. The division sheet is HW if you did not finish it in class. Show all your work, no calculators! Have a nice weekend.
