Welcome!
The counseling program at Durham MIddle School is preventive as well as developmental. Activities and opportunities are created to help meet the needs of all students. Our guidance plan allows students to work with their counselors in individual counseling, small group counseling, or classroom guidance instruction. It is our goal to work with parents, teachers, and administrators to help our students have the most successful year possible.
What's Up?
- Students are encouraged to sign up for small group counseling. Counselor led groups are ongoing throughout the school year.

The Cobb County high school magnet programs provide opportunities for committed students to pursue an advance course of study in a specific focus area while earning a college preparatory diploma.
