Today:

If you didn't do your final interview today, you may come in early tomorrow (I will be here at 7:50 a.m.) to do it.  Also, if you have any final questions or doubts before the final you can ask them at this time or review/practice with a partner.

Tomorrow:

1. Bring your Spanish textbook issued for home use.

2. Bring 2 #2 pencils.

3. Bring the study guide for the Final.  This will be an accuracy grade and since students have had this guide since last week, all students will take the Final tomorrow.

Today students will continue to work on their written review for the final. They will also conduct their interviews and present their animations if they have not done so already.

Today students will take their test on senteo. 

They will have a few minutes to review. Any time after the test will be for practicing the interview.

Tomorrow is the test on stem-changing verbs and weather.  You must know the vocabulary from pg. 167 on weather and the stem-changing verbs from your crossword/notes.

Friday we begin interviews.  Students will be called upon based on a random computer based number drawing.  When you are called you must come interview.  Remember, you may not use any notes in the interview.  Please refer to previous postings for more details.

May 5th (Tue.)

Agenda for today:

Today students will review the weather and stem changing verbs with  partner activities. They will then have the rest of class to work with their partner practicing for the oral interviews that start on Friday. Each student will be called up to have a free flowing conversation with me.  Everyone has been provided a list of possible questions so they can prepare answers and practice ahead of time. Students are encouraged to practice aloud. Reading the questions silently will not help.

HW: Study stem changing verbs (notes) and weather (p. 167)        Test is Thurs. 5/7

All students turned in the Stem changing crossword.  If you went on the field trip, it is due tomorrow.

All classes, the weather handout is due at the beginning of class tomorrow.

Today all students worked on or finished the crossword puzzle for stem changing verbs.  Those who did not finish today in class must complete it for homework and turn it in on Monday.

Those who have not yet presented their goanimate.com show to the class yet need to give me access to your account so that I can view it to grade.

Week of 4-27 through 5-1

Agenda for the day:

Yesterday students began to present their animations. I am really impressed. Many students put a great deal of work into their animations. Also, (except for 3rd block) students took notes on stem changing verbs. Today, students did a practice with stem changing verbs and we continued presentations.

Tomorrow we will finish watching the remaining presentations.
